Dear Colleagues and Partners,
Warm greetings from the Romanian-American University in Bucharest!
We are pleased to share with you a brief overview of two blended programs for students that we plan to organize this summer. Students may be funded through short-term study mobility grants under the Erasmus+ program or similar funding schemes.
 
ISSTTA 2025: INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL IN TRAVEL, TOURISM AND AVIATION (blended intensive program)
  • Organizer: School of Tourism and Hospitality Management
  • Timeframe: 28 June – 5 July 2025 – face to face, 10 July – virtual component
  • 5 ECTS
  • Duration: 8 days face to face & one day online:
  • Highlights of the program:
    • one week at the Black Sea
    • International Guest Professors
    • General Managers from Travel, Tourism and Aviation
    • Project based courses and practical activities
    • Simulation Games Sea Survival Training at Tuzla Airport
    • Study visits Cultural activities
  • Program package – 597 EUR – including: airport transfers; 1-2 nights of accommodation in Bucharest, 6 nights of accommodation at the seaside; transfer from Bucharest to the seaside and back; transfers to the Tuzla Airport and back (6 days); Bucharest City Tour; cultural trips; breakfast; 2 dinners
 
3CS 2025: CYBER-CRIME & CYBER-SECURITY -  ORGANISED CRIME IN THE AGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & HUMAN TRAFFICKING (blended program - NOT A BIP)
  • Organizer: REACT Initiative (Research Excellence Against Child Trafficking)
  • Timeframe: 7 – 12 July 2025 – face to face, virtual component – TBD
  • 3 ECTS
  • Duration: 6 days
  • Main activities:
    • seminars: daily sessions led by experts in law enforcement, legal research, cybersecurity, or AI.
    • workshops: practical activities on using cyber-security tools, AI applications, data analysis, and investigative techniques to tackle potential organised crime groups/human trafficking cases
    • discussions: engage at a multidisciplinary group level to discuss current challenges and solutions
    • networking: opportunities to connect with peers, lecturers, and stakeholders committed to fighting cyber organised crime and human trafficking
    • projects: team-based projects where participants will apply their learning to propose and develop a solution to a specific challenge related to human trafficking, cyber-crime, and AI
    • field and cultural activity: weekend cultural visits in Bucharest and field trip to Danube Delta.

Every year, the Graduate School of Economics and Management organizes a summer school for students from all over the world.

 

For almost 1 mounth participants will :

  • Discover Nice and the surrounding region
  • Immerse themselves in the local culture
  • Improve their French thanks to language courses organized by the Alliance Française Nice Côte d'Azur
  • Take part in business and management courses/conferences
  • 5 ECTS

 

Our all-inclusive package also includes accommodation and transfers to and from Nice Côte d'Azur airport.

The public rate for the Summer School is €2,500.

A preferential rate applies to students from our partner universities.

When registering, participants must indicate their home university.

greetings from Finland!

We want to remind that the application period for Xamk Summer School of Gaming is ending on May 18th! There is still time for your students to fill in the application form (link below).

Xamk is arranging the Xamk Summer School of Gaming (3 ECTS) on 4 – 10 August, 2025. We are delighted to invite your students to spend a week in the beautiful city of Mikkeli!

The Summer School will focus on Essentials of Video Game Creation (3 ECTS) and will teach you how to create a video game by studying concept design and development. You will learn in practice how to develop a basic game concept, from an idea to a pitch, without needing to have a background of previous gaming studies. 

The classes will be held by gaming industry professionals:

  • Dr. Jan Storgårds: with over 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, he is entrepreneur, Director of CADGI (Cambridge Academy of Games and Innovation) and CEO of Cambridge Gamechanger ltd. He has also experience working with start-ups and early-stage technology companies including video games studios.
  • James Shepherd: CEO Cypherdelic Limited and Head of Studio at nDreams, who just recently published Ghostbusters VR. Double Bafta and Develop winning executive responsible for delivering multi-million selling products. He has been working for both Microsoft (creating the Xbox games community 'Upload' and the app 'Upload Studio') and Sony (delivering triple 'A' products including ‘Heavenly Sword’and ‘LittleBigPlanet’.

The price includes tuition, study material, scheduled free time activities, insurance during the scheduled activities, and study certificate for recognition of study credits. The price does not include accommodation.

It would be our pleasure to invite you to the " Staff Training Week Courses: English, Legal English, Spanish, ICT, Creativity, Sustainable Living, Inclusion -Integration and Multidiversity, Yoga and Meditation for educators, CLIL, SEN, organized by SpainBcn-Programs in Barcelona, which will take place throughout 2025-2026, under the Erasmus + Program for teachers and staff, the Staff Training Mobility.

We have offered the Staff Training Week Language courses since 2014. 

During the course you will have the opportunity not only to strengthen your language skills but also to connect with and establish partnerships with other universities. You will be able to meet other International faculty members and staff and, of course, you will have plenty of time to see beautiful Barcelona. There are two afternoon excursions free, included as part of the package.

The Romanian-American University has the pleasure to invite you to the upcoming International Training Program Preparing Students for an Intercultural Environment, which will take place between June 30- July 5, 2025, in our campus in Bucharest, Romania.
 
The program is planned as a Blended Intensive Programme for staff, and will be an opportunity for educators, researchers, and professionals from partner universities to get insights into various approaches to Intercultural Communication, to exchange knowledge and share best practices on this topic, but also to strengthen the international collaboration.
 
The event will include a variety of activities, ranging from courses, workshops, presentations, discussions, networking meetings, to social events, outdoor activities, cultural trip outside Bucharest, and much more… 
 
Highlights of the program:
  • Online kick-off meeting:                                             June 27, 2025
  • Physical mobility (5-day training program):                June 30 – July 4, 2025 
  • Cultural trip to Dracula’s Castle and Brașov city:      July 5, 2025
  • Cultural activities in Bucharest:
    • Bucharest Walking Tour
    • visit to the Village Museum
    • visit to the Palace of Parliament
    • International Dinner

All activities will be conducted in English. We accept a maximum of 30 participants, limited to three per partner institution.
 
Participation fee:
  • NO FEE - for BIP participants (Staff Mobility for Training registered to the BIP)
  • 125 EUR - for Staff Mobility for Training participants (STT not registered to the BIP)
  • 175 EUR - other mobility scheme (including accompanying persons)
Please note that there is no fee for the training program itself.
The participation fee is intended to partially cover the costs of organizing the cultural activities and trips.
For participants registered under the BIP, all activity-related costs are fully covered by RAU.
 
The participants must also cover the accommodation and travel costs.
Please kindly check all the details presented in the attached presentation.
The participants may be eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ Staff Training grant in order to cover the costs related to this mobility (please refer to your Erasmus office for further information). 
 
Please confirm your participation by June 15, 2025. by filling in the REGISTRATION FORM.
