International Staff Week at VIVES, Belgium
We are pleased to invite you to our International Staff Week at VIVES – Commercial Sciences, Business Management and Informatics in Kortrijk, Belgium, from 20 to 24 November 2023.
At our event, you can definitely give your international network a boost as we annually offer guest lecturers a platform to meet close to 40 foreign colleagues from at least 15 different countries all over the world.
You also get to meet and work with our second year bachelor students in our different study programmes in business management and informatics. As guest lecturer, you are asked to bring an interactive workshop in which you set our students to work on a case in your field. You can read more about our format and register here.
You can register as of now, submitting your idea (brief outline) for your workshop. Registration will be open until Saturday 30 September but please don’t leave it until last minute. We need time to find out if we can find you an audience or if your idea needs some tweaking so both you and the students get the best out of this encounter. Acceptance of your proposal will be confirmed no later than Wednesday, October 4.

Studijní, výzkumné a jazykové pobyty v Itálii v akademickém roce 2023/2024

Italská vláda nabízí stipendia ve výši 900 EUR měsíčně k realizaci několika druhů pobytů:
- studijní a výzkumné pobyty pro studenty MSP a DSP v délce 6–9 měsíců
- studijní projekty v rámci doktorátu pod dvojitým vedením v délce 6–9 měsíců
- vyšší umělecké, hudební a taneční kurzy (AFAM) v délce 6–9 měsíců
- pokročilé kurzy italského jazyka a kultury v délce 3 měsíce

Jak se přihlásit
- Podat žádost o stipendium v ČR:
Žádosti o stipendium včetně příloh přijímá AIA (naskenované) emailem na
- Návrh na vyslání / Žádost o účast ve stipendijním programu MŠMT - vyplněný, podepsaný a datovaný uchazečem + potvrzený od zahraničního odd. domácí VŠ (razítko, datum, podpis)
- životopis ve španělštině
- motivační dopis ve španělštině
- doklad o vykonaných zkouškách
Termín pro podání žádostí: 23. 6. 2023
Uchazeči, kteří uspějí ve výběrovém řízení v ČR, budou nominování k udělení stipendia a v dalším kroku musí:

Erasmus + International Staff Week “BUILDING RESILIENT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS” at SMK University of Applied Sciences in Vilnius 13 - 16 June, 2023
The purpose of International Staff Week (ISW) is to share the experience of building a resilient community or institution. The main resilience areas, we are willing to explore are psychological, emotional, physical, community, environmental, and technological resilience and how it is applied in different higher education institutions. The ISW is also dedicated to expanding and strengthening international partnerships. The event comprises of discussions, presentations, best practice sharing, and experiential activities related to building resilience in higher education institutions. ISW participants are encouraged to deliver presentations during the week on how their institutions are contributing to organizational and personal resilience.
Participation fee - 100 Euros to cover the coffee breaks as well as social program costs. Participation in Staff Week can be funded by Erasmus+ Staff Training grants provided by the home University of a participant. We invite participants to check the availability of such funding with their home institution.

Zahraniční vyučující na EF TUL | International lecturers at EF TU
April at EF enriched with foreign visits
From April 11 to 14, 2023, a colleague from Universitat Politécnica de Valéncia from Spain, Carolina Rosario Blanes Nadal, visited the Faculty of Economics. During her Erasmus+ teaching mobility, Carolina provided a workshop for students of the Human resource management course and a presentation on the topic Spanish tax system within the course Selected Accounting and Tax Problems.
The following week, from 18/04 to 20/04/2023, the Faculty of Economics hosted Director of Studies Martin Bradbeer from the German Technische Hochschule Wildau. Prof. Bradbeer offered a workshop on the Intercultural aspects of managing human resources and had several meetings with faculty academics and representatives of the university's international office. The potential for future collaboration between both universities was discussed.
International Scientific Conferences in Burgas, Bulgaria
Invitation for participation in international scientific conferences that will take place in the beautiful city of Burgas, Bulgaria, from August 14th to August 26th.
The conferences will cover various topics, including agriculture and food, ecology and safety, materials, methods, technology, economics and business, education and research, language, individual, and society.
These conferences have been held annually for the past 30 years, providing an excellent platform for specialists from different scientific fields to meet, exchange knowledge, and network with one another.
Our open-access scholarly journals (ISP) promote interdisciplinary research, and your participation will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the conference's success.
