From Systems to Stories

Building smooth processes for students in internationalisation and student services

Participants can choose between two parallel tracks:

Track B: Student Services & Administration
for colleagues working in admissions, student records, curriculum planning, or academic advising – especially those involved with international students or programmes.

Focusing on the student journey and administrative workflows, this track presents examples and ideas for future-ready support services.

Thematic sessions include:

·       Centralising vs. Decentralising – Rethinking the Application Process

·       From Enrolment to Engagement – Attracting and Retaining International Students

·       Processes in the Student Life Cycle – Microcredentials and Short Learning Opportunities

·       From First Contact to Student Status – Managing the Applicant Journey

Each track includes interactive sessions, institutional case studies, and time for networking.

Plus: Enjoy the magical winter atmosphere and Christmas market in Dornbirn!

Milé studentky, milí studenti,
Dům zahraniční spolupráce ve spolupráci s německou národní agenturou DAAD a Fern Universität Hagen zahájil evropský výzkumný projekt Campus International 2025, do kterého Vás srdečně zveme.
Jaký je cíl studie?
Cílem studie je zjistit, jak se studenti osobně rozvíjejí na základě zkušeností získaných během studia. Zvláštní důraz je zejména na zkušenosti se zahraničním výjezdem.
Kdo se může zapojit?
Zapojit se mohou všichni studenti, kteří v současné době studují a žijí v Česku. Zahraniční pobyt (virtuální nebo fyzický) není podmínkou účasti, hledáme také účastníky, kteří během studia výjezd neplánují nebo si nejsou jisti.
Jak se zúčastnit?
Účast je možná po registraci prostřednictvím níže uvedeného odkazu a vyplnění krátkého registračního formuláře. Následně Vám e-mailem zašleme odkaz na osobní dotazník – jednou krátce po registraci a podruhé za několik měsíců abychom si ověřili změnu v čase. Dotazníky budou dostupné v českém i anglickém jazyce.
Pro úspěch studie potřebujeme co nejvíce odpovědí. Budeme proto velmi rádi, pokud tuto pozvánku a odkaz předáte dál svým spolužákům, nebo ji budete sdílet ve studentských skupinách.
Studie je realizována výhradně pro vědecké účely a nemá žádné komerční pozadí. Účast je samozřejmě dobrovolná a je možné ji kdykoli přerušit. Veškeré informace a údaje budou přísně
důvěrné a zpracovány v souladu s platnými předpisy o ochraně osobních údajů. E-mailové adresy budou uchovávány odděleně od údajů z dotazníků, takže zpracování výsledků nebude umožňovat identifikaci konkrétních osob.

1. For courses in English:
   • Demonstrate an intermediate level of English through:
     • Certification of English proficiency (B1 level or higher).
     • Certificate of an intermediate-level English course issued by a language school.
     • Being a native English speaker.
     • Alternatively, students without a proficiency certificate may request a language proficiency interview to demonstrate their English level.

2. For courses in Spanish:
   • Demonstrate an intermediate level of Spanish through:
     • Certification of Spanish proficiency (A2 level or higher).
     • Certificate of an intermediate-level Spanish course issued by a language school.
     • Being a native Spanish speaker.

Dear colleagues,

The French Institute in Prague is looking for an intern to join its Campus France team from October 1^st to 24^th, 2025. It will be a 90-hour internship, with a remuneration of 3359 czk.

The main mission will be to assist me in the promotion of studies in France, especially during the Gaudeamus student fair from October 21^st to 24^th in Brno.

The knowledge of French is not a prerequisite, even if it would be a huge asset, as we are looking above all for a native Czech speaker.

The student must be able to get a placement agreement signed between their university and the French Institute in Prague.

Dear colleague, dear friend

We are pleased to invite you to our International Staff Week (ISW) at VIVES – Commercial Sciences, Business Management and Applied Informatics in Kortrijk, Belgium, from 24 to 28 November 2025.                                                                                             

Our event is an excellent opportunity to boost your international network by meeting our staff as well as close to 40 foreign colleagues from at least 15 different countries all over the world. In order to offer as many partner institutions as possible a chance to attend, we generally allow only two delegates, exceptionally three, from one university.

You can apply as guest lecturer for our second-year students in our bachelor (EQF level 6) or our associate degree (EQF level 5) programmes in Business Management, Organisation & Management and Applied Informatics. You are requested to bring an interactive workshop in which you set our students to work on a case in your field. More about our format and registration can be found here.                             

You can apply as of now, submitting your idea (50 to 100 words) for your workshop. Registration will be open until Sunday 28 September but please don’t leave it until last minute. We will be in touch if we need more information or if your proposal is not the best fit for our students. Acceptance of your proposal will be confirmed as soon as possible and no later than Friday, October 3.
