Internship offer in Barcelona
1 Global Translators, a company located in Barcelona, Spain. Our company offers translation and interpretation services in all languages. We offer the opportunity to do an internship for a period of three months or more in the Project Coordination, Human Resources department, and Administration department.
We are interested in starting a cooperation with your University.
ADMINISTRATION
Billing, payment management, collection management, accounting…
Manage the finances of the company
Check and record invoices (for clients and suppliers)
Verify and record bank transactions
Manage calls and emails
Logistical management
HUMAN RESOURCES
Organising the employees, freelance translators and the new interns
Update the database of professionals
Communicate with candidates for internships
Look for new translators
Be in charge of the management of communication of CVs we receive
At least a medium/ high level of Spanish is required
PROJECT COORDINATION
Coordination of translations and interpretations
Contact with clients and translators
Preparation of quotations
Project assignments
Translation, interpreting and proofreading orders/acceptances for our clients and suppliers
Delivery of translations
Call and email management
We have the following vacancies:
Project Coordination: from June 1st, from August 1st, and from October 1st 2023
Administration: from December 1st 2023
HR: from May 2nd, and June 1st 2023
NOTES:
- The internships take place in Barcelona, except for the coordination department, which can be online or in person.
- We offer the opportunity to do combined internships in 2 departments.
- All trainees will have a tutor and will be supervised by the tutor.
- The internships have the following monthly support: 100€ (4h/day), 110€ (5h/day), 125€ (6h/day), 150€ (7h/day) and 175€ (8h/day). The total amount of the remuneration will be paid at the end of the internship (not monthly).
We are looking for responsible and multidisciplinary students who can work with us developing their own abilities.
Minimum requirements:
- Spanish and English (high spoken and written level)
- Office Pack (advanced user level)
- Internship Agreement from University/College

Study offer for Ph.D. students at the University of Cyprus
The Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Cyprus aims to provide rigorous economic theory and econometrics training to enable our students to conduct cutting-edge original research in economics. Our aim is for our graduates to successfully compete internationally for employment at Universities, research institutions, public policy organizations, and the private sector.
The Department of Economics provides a strong research-oriented academic environment, with faculty members with research interests spanning across various fields in Economics and Econometrics. Tilburg University Research Ranking, which measures research output in Economics journals, has been ranking the University of Cyprus consistently within the top 100 institutions in Europe, and around the world’s top 250. Faculty members have published in most leading journals in economics and related fields, including the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Annals of Statistics, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
The program begins with the coursework stage. The students take core courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics, as well as a course in Analytical Methods, two courses in Current Topics in Economic Research and additional elective courses that help them deepen their knowledge in specific research areas. Students with sufficiently high performance in the core courses obtain the right to take the comprehensive exam. Success in the comprehensive exam gives the student the right to proceed to the programme’s research stage. During the research stage, the student conducts research under a Research Advisor’s guidance, intending to write a doctoral dissertation.
We seek candidates with strong analytical skills, a background in quantitative methods (not necessarily in Economics) and a passion for research. Students coming directly from undergraduate studies, or without prior research-oriented graduate studies in Economics, are typically first enrolled in the Master in Economic Analysis, where they can complete the required coursework. Admitted students can also have the opportunity to transfer credits from similar classes taken in other universities.
Funding
The Department makes every effort possible to ensure that the doctoral students have enough income to live independently during their studies. The Department covers the tuition fees of incoming full-time Ph.D. students. In addition to this, most students are offered financial aid, in the form of scholarships or teaching assistantships, which allows them to cover their living costs. Students who are initially enrolled in the Master of Economic Analysis are also eligible for funding.
In the past decade, the Department has financially supported all its full-time Ph.D. students throughout their studies and a substantial number of students enrolled in the Master in Economic Analysis.

Applications received by the initial deadline will be evaluated in early April with priority. The programme will be accepting applications after the deadline, which will be evaluated on a rolling basis for as long as there are still available positions and funding opportunities.

3rd international student scientific-practical conference "Future creators" on May 18, 2023 in Klaipéda, Lithuania
We kindly invite you to the 3rd international student scientific-practical conference "Future creators" on May 18, 2023.
Aim of the conference is to present and discuss possible ideas for future products or processes relevant to any area of public life. Young researchers of various fields of study and science are invited to share the results, ideas and visions of applied research on how to create future creative solutions relevant to the modern world. Applied research can be conducted individually or in a team with faculty or representatives of other organizations. Articles prepared on the basis of the conference that meet the requirements will be published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal "Current Issues in Business and Law", No.1, 2023. The journal is indexed in the EBSCO PUBLISHING database. Scientific articles in the field of health can be published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal "Science and Processes of Education", indexed in the EBSCO PUBLISHING database.
TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE:

- Health technology, healthcare management and quality of life;

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ORAL PRESENTATIONS AT THE CONFERENCE:
The duration of the presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.
The languages of the Conference are English and Lithuanian.
All presentations should include research topicality, research aim, research methods, research data and results, research conclusions.
