Two blended programs for students at Romanian-American University in Bucharest!

Warm greetings from the Romanian-American University in Bucharest!
We are pleased to share with you a brief overview of two blended programs for students that we plan to organize this summer. Students may be funded through short-term study mobility grants under the Erasmus+ program or similar funding schemes.
ISSTTA 2025: INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL IN TRAVEL, TOURISM AND AVIATION (blended intensive program)
- Organizer: School of Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Timeframe: 28 June – 5 July 2025 – face to face, 10 July – virtual component
- 5 ECTS
- Duration: 8 days face to face & one day online:
- Highlights of the program:
- one week at the Black Sea
- International Guest Professors
- General Managers from Travel, Tourism and Aviation
- Project based courses and practical activities
- Simulation Games Sea Survival Training at Tuzla Airport
- Study visits Cultural activities
- Program package – 597 EUR – including: airport transfers; 1-2 nights of accommodation in Bucharest, 6 nights of accommodation at the seaside; transfer from Bucharest to the seaside and back; transfers to the Tuzla Airport and back (6 days); Bucharest City Tour; cultural trips; breakfast; 2 dinners
3CS 2025: CYBER-CRIME & CYBER-SECURITY - ORGANISED CRIME IN THE AGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & HUMAN TRAFFICKING (blended program - NOT A BIP)
- Organizer: REACT Initiative (Research Excellence Against Child Trafficking)
- Timeframe: 7 – 12 July 2025 – face to face, virtual component – TBD
- 3 ECTS
- Duration: 6 days
- Main activities:
- seminars: daily sessions led by experts in law enforcement, legal research, cybersecurity, or AI.
- workshops: practical activities on using cyber-security tools, AI applications, data analysis, and investigative techniques to tackle potential organised crime groups/human trafficking cases
- discussions: engage at a multidisciplinary group level to discuss current challenges and solutions
- networking: opportunities to connect with peers, lecturers, and stakeholders committed to fighting cyber organised crime and human trafficking
- projects: team-based projects where participants will apply their learning to propose and develop a solution to a specific challenge related to human trafficking, cyber-crime, and AI
- field and cultural activity: weekend cultural visits in Bucharest and field trip to Danube Delta.
