Invitation to Share with Students and Staff – Lithuanian Language and Culture Summer Course 2026
SMK College of Applied Sciences is pleased to invite students, lecturers, and researchers to participation in the Lithuanian Language and Culture Summer Course 2026, funded by the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
This 30 days programme combines intensive Lithuanian language studies with engaging workshops, cultural events, excursions, and sightseeing activities, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore Lithuania’s language, history, culture, and contemporary lifestyle.
Course dates: 1 July – 30 July 2026
Location: SMK College of Applied Sciences, Kalvarijų str. 137E, Vilnius, Lithuania
Application deadline: 18 March 2026
Financial support
Approved participants will receive a scholarship of EUR 962, and the tuition fee will be fully covered by the Republic of Lithuania and transferred directly to SMK. Please note that travel, accommodation, and other personal expenses must be covered by the participant.
Who can apply
The programme is open to:
- Bachelor, Master, and PhD students
- Lecturers and researchers from foreign higher education or research institutions
- Foreigners of Lithuanian origin meeting eligibility criteria
Priority is given to first-time participants, individuals studying Lithuanian language or culture abroad, and applicants from selected countries (details available in the official call).
